Growing Your Practice – A Business Masterclass

This concise Masterclass is designed to be proactive in nature in order to assist those in private practice, whether to a smaller or larger degree, grow their practice. The day is focussed around customer experience economy. Delegates will be encouraged to critically analyse their progress and plans for the future. The session will provide opportunities to affirm good practice, share models of success and provide the thinking strategies needed to develop a bespoke private practice in an unstable economy, where supply of service provision is often greater than demand. In business, it is as appropriate to make changes when things are going well, as when things are quiet.

This 1/2 day Masterclass examines some of the main thinking behind growing a successful private practice and includes the following:
* Defining and redefining your business plan
* Unleashing the creative thinker within
* Developing your business identity
* Marketing, advertising and promotion with ‘purple cow’ thinking

This is a non-examined programme and credits are awarded for information acquired during the course that will contribute to the Certificate in Private Practice Development. Students will receive their certificate at the end of the course. This one day workshop will be held at the BST Foundations usual training venues. This workshop will be delivered by Andy McCann FRSM MA(Ed) PGCE BA(Hons) DCHyp AcertCSHyp GQHP SBST. Andy is Director of Studies for the BST Foundation (Wales Region) and founder and Clinical Director of Clinical Hypnotherapy Wales (CHW). Andy is also Managing Director of AMCAN Training, one of Wales’ leading corporate training and consultancy companies whose clients include businesses and individuals from the private and public sectors, and charities.

Andy is in wide demand as a speaker due to his inspirational, accessible style drawing from an expertise which includes over 20 years experience of elite sport performance, education, health and business. He is a member of DNA Wales, a network of critical management researchers who collaborate with key economy enhancing bodies such as industry associations, private enterprise, higher education and government.

Andy is also Chair of the Cardiff & Vale NHS Trust ASSET Charity whose brief is to increase the quality of primary stroke patient care in the Trust.
