Continued Professional Development-(CPD)
Work Shops
Continually
enhancing your current therapeutic skills and Knowledge
The Foundation believes that CPD is a mandatory requirement
for all those working in a health care setting, to continually
enhance therapeutic skills and current knowledge.
In public health the overall aim of CPD is to ensure that
those who work in the field develop and maintain the necessary
knowledge, skills and attributes to practice effectively
and work towards improving the health of the population.
CPD is part of the process of lifelong learning and can
include:
Post-qualification training courses and workshops
Received or conferred professional or peer supervision
in an area of hypnotherapy
Presentation or attendance at conferences and events
Research
Relevant reading
Continuing Professional
Development (CPD) is a career-long process that therapists
undertake in order to keep up-to-date and to maintain
and enhance their professional skills.
Our specialist CPD work-shops are provided for all individuals
already qualified or who are students currently training
with the BST Foundation. In addition they are also open
to Doctors, Nurses, Psychologists, Counsellors, Occupational
therapists and other interested health care professionals.
Individuals with relevant qualifications from other training
organisations are welcome pending initial discussion.
Please click the work shop of interest for further information
