Entry Requirements
ENTRANCE COURSE - Level 1 Certificate
There are no formal entry requirements or tests for
acceptance onto level one. However, a brief informal
interview may be arranged to assess prospective student’s
suitability for the course. Professionals holding a medical
qualification or other recognised examination may be exempt
from this requirement pending initial discussion.
PRACTITIONER DIPLOMA COURSE - Level 2
To progress to the level two practitioner diploma, the
minimum entry requirement is that level one has been
successfully completed. Equivalent qualifications will be
considered on an individual basis but candidates may be
requested to demonstrate their suitability for this course.
ADVANCED PRACTITIONERS CERTIFICATE IN CLINICAL AND
STRATEGIC HYPNOSIS - Level 3
To apply for a place on the Advanced Practitioners course,
all delegates must hold a Practitioner Diploma in Clinical
Hypnosis to be eligible. Equivalent qualifications will be
considered on an individual basis but candidates may be
requested to demonstrate their suitability for this course.
BRIEF (COGNITIVE) STRATEGIC THERAPY DIPLOMA COURSE
Two categories of students are eligible for registration
onto the BST course:
Medical or health care professionals. Those professionals
who can demonstrate a genuine interest in the application of
brief therapy and wish to employ those skills in their own
environment.
Candidates can be requested to attend a brief interview
prior to acceptance onto the BST training course.
Professionals holding a medical qualification or other
recognised examination may be exempt from this requirement
pending initial discussion.
