Clinical Hypnosis Practitioner Diploma Course Level 2
Level two hypnotherapy course provides
a natural progression of study for those who have completed
level one. The practitioner diploma provides an in depth
knowledge of the theoretical and practical aspects of
clinical hypnosis and it is recommended by the examination
board and BST Foundation that successful completion of
level two serves as a minimum level of competence to commence
clinical practice.
The syllabus covers many areas including the basic etiology
and pathology of organic and psychosomatic disease, the
biological basis of mind-body approaches, specialised
indirect hypnotic communication skills, advanced inductions
and therapeutic protocols, a wide range clinical applications
where hypnotherapy can be a recommended and effective
treatment. It will also include the specialised use of
hypnosis in pain control and treating children in a hypnotherapeutic
setting. In addition, a module specifically tailored towards
the setting up of a successful private practice, ethical
conduct, gaining business and good practice management
is included.
The Foundation
prides itself on it's student centred approach to teaching
clinical hypnosis, placing a strong emphasis on the development
of practical skills, learning current theory, assessment
and ongoing supervision. Therefore ensuring that each
student maximises their potential and that they are taught
to the highest practical and ethical standards.
On successful completion of level two, students will be
